Remarks: | The demonstration machine F-16C Block 30 of the Solotürk display team operates officially as part of 132 Filo. It is also capable of combat deployment, which it demonstrated by mounting the "Tolun" small-caliber bombs, named after Ahmad ibn Tulun, the founder of the eponymous dynasty that ruled Egypt and Syria in the 9th century. This Turkish equivalent of the American SDB is also intended for larger unmanned machines of Turkish production Akıncı or Kızılelma. The multiple mount is designated Sadat-4T and the undermounted bombs have GPS/INS guidance. |
