More than 1,000 pilots have flown it, 175 machines have been in use in Germany - now the era of the Phantom is to end after 40 years. With a large air show in the East Frisian Wittmundhafen the Air Force has adopted from the last fighter aircraft of type F-4 Phantom. More than 100,000 visitors watched the spectacle, according to Bundeswehr. | |||
