Remarks: The aircraft was of the day 28 December 1941 damaged by flak during the bombing of German military port of Wilhelmshaven. When returning to home base damaged aircraft landed on surface of the North Sea. Rear gunner Sgt. Rudolf Skalický died during emergency landing. The other crew members managed to get out from sinking aircraft. The other two crew members, navigator F/O Josef Mohr and second pilot Sgt. Josef Tománek, died on 2nd of January 1942. Cold North Sea washed them up after six days near village Petten. From the original five who survived the crash landing, only three were still alive – first pilot Sgt.
